Last days of Prep
Running around saying good bye to everyone and making sure the cats will see our pictures every night while we're gone. And Packing.

Training
OKAY!
We are really ready. I have been training at Vince Mini's House of Pain since August, and also have ridden 800 miles since then.
I have been riding in Placerville on the bike trail here and also in Folsom on the bike trail.
We have rented Mom and Dad's van, which Peter will be driving, and we plan to get in and drive to Florida on May first.
Placerville Bike Shop has put new tires on my bike and tuned it up, so it's ready too!
In the meantime, I have been taking singing lessons and have won the part of the Donkey in Shrek the Musical at Imagination Theater! So I will also be practicing my lines while riding. So I'll have something to do. The show runs Thanksgiving to Christmas. So plan on coming to see it. Don't ask me for tickets. I always screw that up. Just go to the website or call the theater directly.
We will make a few stops on the way to the starting point, but we will make our way to Key West and I'll jump out and start pedaling to Maine. The Greenway Trail covers the whole route, so I guess I can't get lost this time! Peter says to keep the water on the right. You can see the route details on the website greenway.org
